CERTIFICATIONS
With the exception of the MS-80 piezo sirens, all sirens shown above are IP54 certified, which means they have passed –40°C to +125°C temperature tests, are flame retardant, and are waterproof.
IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ
The internal battery of backup sirens typically lasts 2-3 years. Heat and other environmental factors ultimately determine battery life. The internal battery cannot be replaced, but the siren should still continue operating normally without it, although there would be no "backup" functionality.
Only the KB-series comes standard with keys. We cannot make spare keys, so please keep your keys safe in separate locations.
Soft Chirp works by reducing the loudness of the first 200ms of the siren output, which encompasses all Arm/Disarm chirps and shock sensor Warning Chirps (emitted on light shock to the car). All sound after the first 200ms will be 6dB higher, full volume. Soft Chirp is a feature that cannot be disabled. This feature was introduced in 2019. Sirens sold prior to 2019 do not have the Soft Chirp feature. It is therefore possible that if you purchase a new, old-stock VISION or SCIBORG security system from our dealers, it may include an older model siren without Soft Chirp.
