When installing a 1460-series product in cars without factory keyless entry, you must have an optional remote with antenna kit. In addition, if you wish to have the security system control the vehicle's door locks, you will also need the optional 318-16R. Please note though that the 318-16R cannot be used on vehicles that have a factory alarm, unless the factory alarm can be disabled.
