• As you may expect, this shock sensor (or any other sensor) does not "guarantee" complete protection against theft or vandalism.
• For the vast majority of vehicles, even large vans or SUVs, the ideal sensitivity setting for the adjustment dial is 70% or less. If the sensor triggers the siren more than you like, it means you need to reduce the sensitivity setting on the sensor.

VISION "SSA" shock sensors use an electromagnetic sensing element to detect impact. Intelligent analysis of detected vibrations minimizes false triggers.
