Note 1:
This keyless upgrade alarm system must be installed in vehicles that have hazard flash corresponding to factory keyless door lock/unlock.
2:
This system is not compatible with cars that flash hazard lights when the driver's door is unlocked with the key (e.g., some Peugot)
3:
Incompatible with vehicles that cannot detect the 12v signal from the door lock motors (e.g., most all vacuum-type door lock vehicles)
4:
The 1440R accurately reads the factory keyless signals to prevent unauthorized disarming of the security system. However, there are some rare cases where the factory keyless signal may drift and prevent arming for a single session. In this case, simply unlocking and then locking again will solve the problem.
5:
Many MITSUBISHI vehicles require pressing of the factory remote unlock button TWICE in order to Disarm the 1440R.
6:
You cannot operate the 1440R while the hazard lights are flashing.
7:
Some vehicles may require optional parts (e.g., PBS-30 switch for Push Start cars or N-45W wire splitter for Smart/Intelli Key cars).

8:
Although the 1440R is fully compatible with remote engine starters and turbo timers, it is important to keep in mind that many vehicles won't allow keyless door locking/unlocking while the remote starter or turbo timer is in use. This means you will not be able to arm or disarm the 1440R while the remote starter or turbo timer is running in such vehicles. But for vehicles that allow keyless locking/unlocking while the engine is running, you will be able to arm or disarm the 1440R while the remote starter or turbo timer is operating.
